🐾 JoliChien — A story of roots, friendship… and love for dogs

It all starts with two first names.
Christopher , 30 years old, passionate about e-commerce.
Moatasem , 28 years old, passionate about product design.
Two different paths. Two origins. But the same welcoming land: France.
And the same passion: useful, human, responsible e-commerce.

🌍 Origins that shape sensitivity

Christopher is originally from Togo , where he grew up watching dogs wandering around town, often left to their own devices, walking on hot or sharp roads. He has never forgotten those scenes.
Moatasem comes from Morocco , where neighborhood dogs struggle through the seasons unprotected, between concrete sidewalks, wet roads, and winter salt. He always wanted to “do something” for them.

🧠 Years of projects… before the right idea

Both have long worked in e-commerce. Brands, products, campaigns...
But there was a lack of deeper meaning . Something that connects them to who they are.
A project that carries emotion, conviction, and above all… usefulness.

It was during a joint trip to the south of Spain that the idea arose:

"Why isn't there a real, attractive, reliable, comfortable solution to protect dogs' paws , especially in hot countries?"

✨ JoliChien was born.

JoliChien is not just a brand.
It's a project of the heart. A cause.
That of protecting those who cannot speak , those who give us everything without asking for anything.

We worked for months on the prototypes.
We tested materials, interviewed veterinarians, and read hundreds of testimonials from owners.
And above all: we observed the dogs.

The way they walk, the way they stop, the way they try to remove what bothers them...
Our obsession: creating boots they forget they're wearing once.
